Welcome! I’m KD4QWI, otherwise known as Mark. I’m a 40 something year old Amateur Radio Operator in the Atlanta, Georgia area. I’ve been a ham since my teens when a friend prompted me to get my no-code tech license as an easy way to communicate between our houses (this was in the time before cell phones).
I’ve had an interest over the years, but its picking up recently and I’m planning on documenting my journey. I’m in the process of building out my shack again, studying for my general and potentially extra class licenses and some other projects.

I can be found on KC-Wide on C4FM, on FT8 (10 and 6M at the moment) and occasionally on some of the local 2M/440 bands here in the Atlanta area.
